Achievements

Couva East Secondary School is building a formidable reputation for quality education.  Over the past 22 years the school earned 109 scholarship.  DISCIPLINE, self-motivation and a dedicated staff are some of the main contributing factors to the continued success of this school.  Labelled as one of the top performing Government School academically, we also encouraged participation in extracurricular activities.  Following is a list of a few of the competition that the school participated on and have secured places over the years:

• Shooting Stars - A three year film development program partnered by the National Gas Company (NGC) and TT Film Festival (TTFF)  for secondary students.  Our film "Tainted Reality"  had pores raised and tear-filled eyes in the cinema, so real was the acting and reality of the storyline we secured the top prize in 2019.

• 15th Shanghai Internal Youth Interactive Friendship Camp.
